Instructions

Dough:

  1. In a large bowl, make a well in the middle of the flour.
  2. Add warm water, olive oil, salt, and yeast into the well.
  3. Mix the ingredients together until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover the dough and leave it to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Carlin Pea Curry Sauce:

  1. In a pan, fry onion, garlic, and chili until softened.
  2. Add the curry powder, onion powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, cayenne pepper, and coriander powder. Stir well.
  3. Pour in the chopped tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and add the tomato paste.
  4. Mix in the coconut milk, silken tofu, and fresh coriander. Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a blender, add maple syrup, and blend until smooth.
  6. Return the sauce to the pan and add the cooked Carlin peas. Heat until the peas are hot.

Pizza Assembly:

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Heat up a cast iron pan on the hob.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough into a pizza shape and place it in the hot pan.
  4. Spread the Carlin pea curry sauce over the dough.
  5. Add vegan cheese and fresh jalapeños as toppings.
  6. Cook the pizza on the hob for 1-2 minutes until the base begins to crisp.
  7. Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Finish by grilling the pizza for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close watch to prevent burning.
